Traveling around the world I have seen a lot of high-level project ideas that do not become a commercial product just because the developer does not know how to make the idea to arrive at investors, nor has the money for development tests that would show that the idea works. That will be my contribution here. I will help to spread the idea, and, in few promising cases, I will help simulating the initial tests free of charge.
To do this, I will maintain in this site a table of designs in the format below. It will cover switchgear, switchboards, panels & bus ducts. That is, products of the IEC 62271 & IEC 61439 series and corresponding national standards.
To have items in the table will be FREE (no charges at all). To avoid a long table, I will only include items that I consider promising. I know well how to assess this. To include an item, send me an e-mail with an identification of the person or company (name, e-mail and country is enough). In the e-mail mention that you authorize to include this info in the table and that you are aware that the table is of free public access.
The goal is to enable to whom developed a patent or an idea or a (real) commercial innovation, to expose it in this site. Each person or company can include only one design (one line of the table). I will do my best to maintain the table updated. I will communicate about updates only though my posts in LinkedIn (
) . I have 18500+ followers and most of them are manufacturers, certifiers, testing labs and other people of the power industry. A good free showcase.
Requirements / suggestions if you want to include an item in the table (only I can include and edit items)
Patents looking for manufacturers or investors. When you send the data for the table inform the number of the patent that may be found in a public access site:
Ideas not registered nor patented: If you feel that it is an idea really promising take care on the level of details that you will expose. Only include something that you can demonstrate, in the future, that was originated by you, for example in a formal article or book with ISBN.
Innovation already commercialized or under tests: the requirement is to have a temperature rise test report with or without conclusions. I will check the report, but it will not be showed, identified, mentioned or disclosed in the table or any other way .
THE NEEDED INFORMATION IS:
*** Manufacturer / Equipment / Contact e-mail
*** Rated current / Rated voltage /Short circuit current
*** Main design advantage: This is an important item. Write in few words what is knew in your design.
*** Weight / volume of enclosure: This is an optional information but very useful to have an idea of the “efficiency” of the design. For example , if you are designing an equipment for use in a offshore platform ship this is a key aspect to consider.
*** Conceptual drawing : This is a very important information. Try do show, in a drawing, even handmade, to present the concept of the design that you wish to highlight,,
***Class of the project
( IDEA) Ideas not registered nor patented
( PAT 1) Patents looking for manufacturers or investors
( PAT 2) Patents having manufacturers or investors . Under development & tests
(INNOV1) Innovation already commercialized
(INNOV2) Innovation under development & tests
If you are interested in having an item in the table, please write me to My gmail e-mail . I will communicate only in private e-mail. . For this exchange of information, I will not give answers in LinkedIn posts. I can communicate in English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Write me in one of these languages. To know who I am read my C.V.
Kind Regards
Sergio Feitoza Costa
